Teaching kids to SMILE
I have created a unique approach to horsemanship called SMILE, which stands for SEE, MIND, INSPIRE, LISTEN and EASE. This method encourages people, especially children, to be mindful and intuitive when interacting with horses. The SMILE framework is designed to promote mutual respect, empathy, and effective communication between humans and horses.
I have written several books on SMILE Horsemanship in Danish and in 2024 the first English book, ‘Braveheart in paradise’, was published. The book teaches children about horsemanship in an engaging and accessible way. It combines storytelling with practical advice on how to interact with horses, making it suitable for both children and their parents.
